That seems right.

I am thinking in the context of line watching.

Oddsmakers set lines, bookmakers adjust lines to even money - in very simplistic terms.

Inside that context, I was wondering if there was an important distinction between the two insofar as finding percieved value in a bet.

Just for the sake of chitchatting...

If the OMs own the Opening lines and BMs own the closers then the BMs have the sharpest lines

Knowing the closers ahead of time would be worth a great deal of $$$
