#3Funny thing Sammy... I was thinking Under before I went to bed last night and I never touch totals. Don't believe in them. But even I was leaning on the under.Comment -

#5Under is too risky in a game between the worst passing defense in the NFL (Dallas) and the worst rushing defense (Chicago).Comment -

#8I thought this game had over written all over it last week because of that.On paper it should be a pinball game. Then they opened the line so low and has moved lower throughout the week makes me think I'm missing something.Too fishy for me so staying away.Comment -

#12Look at the Eagles and Ravens game both played in a blizzard and the over hit in both i dont think the weather matters as much as people thinkComment -

#13If it's gonna be ridiculously cold, it gives a small edge to a running team over a passing team. That being said, we saw some wild pass plays succeed yesterday in the snow and slush.Comment -

#15Right, so there could actually be some value on the Over if people drive an already adjusted number down. It is not like the old days though when a move like that was an automatic play, there is a lot more sharp money these days to stop the total from getting TOO deflated. Been sitting on 47.5 for a while.Comment -

#17LT - if you think about it... is this a game you don't look at stats? Like poor defense? This is a big game for both teams. Chicago needs a win and Dallas needs a win. I would think both coaching staffs will play call conservatively. I don't think you want to make a mistake. Factor in the cold weather... a running attack both ways. I figure this game will go under. I think Vegas is trapped in this game... they probably want the game to go over... but I'm looking at this game thinking FG's and Punts.Comment -

#19As for motivation, game actually means a lot more to the Bears. Loss by Lions opened up the door to give Chicago a chance to tie for division lead. As for Cowboys, loss would not hurt TOO much because they would still control their own destiny the rest of the way, especially with a win in Philadelphia already and the Week 17 rematch being home in Dallas. I am not saying any of this is a reason to play/fade either team, just throwing it out there as an added consideration.Comment -

#21The cold doesn't mean shit. Its the wind that would be the bigger factor. Even such as mentioned by others, hard to think about an under with these two crappy defenses + both have play making ability in defense/special teams where I would not be surprised to see a score, maybe even two on that side of the ball.Comment -

#23Lot of snow and cold yesterday and the NFL set a record for TD's scored on one Sunday. Snow without excessive wind is great for oversComment -

#29remember the Cowboys are coming in off a huge bye week and extra rest. after not play since thanksgiving.
also like EP said weather doesn't mean shit but 16 degrees it's a little bit different. the huge factor here is wind is expected to blow at 12-24 MPH, making wind chills dip between zero and negative 5 degrees.
the Cowboys rely HEAVILY on huge passing plays on offense. that isn't going to fly tonight for either team with those kinds of conditions. we are going to see a ton of old school physical football, pounding the rock. both coaches are going to have to be creative. Cowboys are already feeling the pressure as well after the Philly win yesterday.
With the teams having to adjust to weather early on, Cowboys defense feeling fresh and healthy after a long bye and their offense/big plays going to be hampered by the wind, I'm on no score first 7 min 30 secs +150.Comment -
