Did something like that EVER happen in an NFL game throughout that season ?
(Although i remember one instance where the sprinklers went off in the SEA-MIA game and made the field wet

So, WHY did this happen in the
...biggest game of the year,
presumably the game that (probably?) draws the most amount of action in Vegas every year
where the underdog wins straight up
and when Ray Lewis comes back much earlier than expected recovery time on exactly the first playoff game
blatantly caught using a banned substance, pre -announcing his retirement after end of season
