Yes, they love giving the SEC cupcakes. You got it figured out. Gator Bowl is an SEC vs Big Ten bowl. Georgia not being one of the upper tier SEC teams ends up here and once you get past the top few in Big Ten there is a substantial drop off.

Two big ten teams in BCS, Both Outback and Capital one pick before Gator and once Wisonsin is gone your left with the steaming pile known as the remainder of the big ten. Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa all suck the same and only other team that had enough wins was Pedo State and they cant play.

So please tell me how "they" love giving the SEC cupcakes.

because fans of other conferences never want to admit how deep the sec is until the 6th best team is rolling the 3rd best team or whatever of another conference

ND Rutgers is a joke. Can't remember ever seeing two bowl games in the same season at -17 or more. So much chalk this year.
