My sheets have Bowling Green as a slight favorite here... all the pressure is on NIU. NIU might win this one but it will be a dogfight. Bowling Green is on a roll and has gotten better each week. Bowling Green has the defense to make NIU one dimensional. Expect another classic MAC title game like we usually get.

I've seen a lot of NIU games this year and they pretty much run over people. BG defense gave up a lotta points and yards to bigger programs this year. Add in the NIU darling of the MAC story, Lynch for Heisman campaign, game in a dome, how is NIU not a -7 favorite here!!??

here is the kicker, of course it's a squirrelly weekday MAC game, and 81% of bets are on NIU and the line hasn't really moved.

I took NIU ML last night at -150. Think they win by 7+, but my bets this weekend are of the "better safe than sorry" mentality. BG has allowed their last 4 opponents to score 17 combined points.... great. None of those offenses were ranked higher than 70 nationally, and none of them had a truck like Jordan Lynch as their QB. Key to this game will be NIU being able to throw the ball, BG has some great secondary play. But up front at the line of scrimmage they will have no answer for Lynch. 27-20 NIU

Tommylee Lewis is cleared to play tonight. Held out last two games with foot injury. One of the top receivers for Huskies with I believe 74 receptions. Him and Stingily were missed last game and Huskie O was a little lethargic, maybe tough to get fired up for W. Mich? . I believe both were held out to be @ 100% against BG.
