i wouldnt trade murphy. we really need a 1st baseman and shortstop. i really believe if they throw the 2 pitchers into the fire this year in 2015 we would have a very good pitching staff with niese wheeler harvey montero and syngaard. i think the fan base would get excited bringing those guys up. would they take some lumps sure but we are going to anyway

debateable if you look at the numbers they are almost equal but those 2 with wheeler syngaard and montero next year as our starters i would show up to a few more games than i already go to. you are right though we wont see those 2 up next year until mid june to save the mets an extra year of not having to pay them

Mets will not bring up Syndergaard or Montero until after June to protect themselves and save money like always. With the Mets its about money not talent. BTW Granderson away from the wind tunnel that blows out in right center hits less HR's and has a whooping 226 on base % away from home GL Mets you stupid Mfers
