Adopting this philosophy from now on, UNLESS I am legitimately entertained by the two teams playing. I would have watched Wisky/Virginia and possibly MSU/UNC last night but still. The last few nights I've completely cut myself off from following my plays until around midnight. I check it then and see what happened. I look at each games play by play and how it unfolded, as well as the recap. SO MUCH LESS STRESSFUL
Why watch the games?

#2I wish I could do that. I feel like whenever I don't have access or I fall asleep.......its a loser. Strange, but true.

3 slightly winning days so far. It is SO hard to do though. I wanna grab my phone and laptop and check every 15 minutes. I'm planning on watching ESPN for the UL/Cincy game but I'm gonna try and not glance at the scoreboard below either. I wish I could turn that off somehowComment -

#7half the fun to me is the actual HANDICAPPING. Have caught a few scores so far on accident but oh well. All of them were good newsOriginally posted by Cuse0323Cause this is gambling, son. Stress is half the fun.Comment -

#8That's the other half of the fun, but not watching the games is like telling your buddy you wanna play some blackjack and to go play BJ for you and tell you what happens after.Originally posted by TPowellhalf the fun to me is the actual HANDICAPPING. yeah, I can't handle it anymore. I refuse to put myself through it if I can help it. I enjoy handicapping and watching sports, but not grinding over tight games between teams I care nothing aboutComment -

#22I don't think anyone willfully watched UVA v. Wisconsin.
That matchup between Bennett and Ryan is some form of Chinese water torture.
As far as the philosophy, I watch some - I don't watch others. Just depends if I am doing shit or not. The ones I don't watch are a lot less stressful, but the ones I watch for the win were that much more enjoyable.Comment -

#23exactly. Sports betting requires watching a ton of sports. Lakerboy claims he doesnt watch any sports i dont how he handicapps gamesOriginally posted by rm18Watching helps to handicap future games though especially when guys are injured
Especially right now in college hoops since its so hard to get a read on teams with all the turnover teams have from year to year.Comment -
