ESPN, CBS Sports and Fox Sports have all expressed interest in Tebow joining their broadcast team.

ESPN's SEC Network, which will debut next August, wants its own version of "College Gameday," with Rece Davis as host, radio personality Paul Finebaum in the Lee Corso role and Tebow as the show's Kirk Herbstreit.

Of course, there will be a bidding war by the networks for Tebow.

CBS Sports, which airs the top SEC game of the week, is “willing to blow up its pregame show” if Tebow joined that network

But it's also fair to wonder this: Could he deliver a candid opinion on a failed coach, program or player when the job calls for the brutal variety of honesty? In almost any role, part of Tebow's job would be to criticize when warranted -- this from a guy who has never been known to be critical of anyone or anything, at least not on a public platform.

For Tebow, that would be the toughest challenge.

SEC Network hires Tim Tebow as an analyst

Tim Tebow will be on your television screen soon, and fittingly it's on a channel owned by ESPN.

The former Florida quarterback and 2007 Heisman Trophy winner has been hired by the SEC Network as an analyst for its traveling Saturday morning show "SEC Nation" that will debut in August. However, he'll be making his first ESPN appearance on Monday, January 6 before the BCS Championship Game. He'll be on SportsCenter in the morning, College Football Live in the afternoon and College GameDay before the game between Auburn and Florida State.
