Why do people continue to bet parlays buying an obscene amount of points?

You're paying "vig" on every 1/2 point you buy so if you're placing a 25 team parlay and buying 9 points a game, you're paying 450 vigs.

If luck is on your side and you actually hit the damn thing, the payout winds up being about 10% of what it really should be.

CK7, you're just giving the books your money by doing this and if buying so many points is your "MO", then you're best off quitting gambling forever.
