I was just talking to one of my buddies up at Towson University in Maryland who was telling me how he saw one of the players on the basketball team at the bar and he kinda jokingly thanked him for hitting some 3's allowing him to win his bets. The player then discussed with him how his friends are always revealing to him the point spread before the games and what they themselves decide to bet on and he admitted that the thought of it goes through his head while playing and also admitted to missing shots on purpose before to cover spreads. Just something I heard that I found to be interesting and I know that is the 100% truth as my friend works with the athletic department and is friendly with all of the athletes and would never make that up just to call me to tell me that for no reason.
