big mismatch here. UNC- Greensboro has played three cup cakes such as Highpoint, Chowan(D2) and Greensboro (D2) out of their first 6 games and it cost them dearly in their last game against La Tech, getting SMASHED 99-62.
San Diego is well rounded, they have 4 different players that average double digit scoring per game and they defend(giving up just 61 points a game on 35% shooting) where as UNC-Greensboro is a terrible defensive team (86 ppg, 48% shooting)
reason i like first half play here is SD is coming off their first loss of the season so they should come out very hungry, motivated and focused, tons of energy. also this is UNC-G first game playing outside of Greensboro, all year, that is going to play a major roll the first ten minutes of the game, giving SD opportunities to build leads.
the main key will be Greensboro is shooting 40% from 3 where as SD holds teams to 23% from beyond the arc.
like SD first half here to get it done before Greensboro makes adjustments at halftime.
