Why is Wyoming getting 16 here?

Ohio State been terrible shooting the ball, Wyoming has been lighting it up. If Ohio State can only beat American University (?) by 11 do we think they'll beat a hot shooting Wyoming team by 17+? Odd line.

Wyoming has been scoring vs. crap teams at home. In their only road game and their only game vs. a good team, they scored 58 points and shot 43% in a loss at Colorado. Ohio State has been playing the best defense in the country so far.

But when they needed to step up, they held Marquette to 35 points in their own building. I am not saying Ohio State will cover but the line makes sense.

I just don't see a blowout, 16 points is a ton of points to cover against a team that can shoot, especially from 3pt land. These no-name players come out and ball, lots of upsets and too close for comfort games this year.

This line is exactly where it should be. Wyoming has played only one decent opponent and they lost that one. OSU is easily the best opponent they will face all year. I believe the decided ht advantage and monstrously superior defense will result in a 20 point OSU victory. I would probably give the 16, but got down early when the line started to move!

Yes...One of these "terrible" opponents (Ohio) would be about a PK with Wyoming. There is a 3rd home game that OSU won by 39 and they beat a Marquette team by 17 on the road. Said Marquette team would be a solid favorite over Wyoming.

Point is: you can make a case for how this is too many points and you can make a case for it is not. I think Matta will have his team focused and they take care of business tonite. While Shyatt has brought this program back to respectable the last couple years, this small ball version does not match up well against this foe. .
