Yeah this is why the nba is so predictable. No matter how exciting the regular season may be its either going to be the spurs facing the pacers or the heat. No real drama just inevitable

The West is loaded with great teams. No guarantee in the West. Houston, Golden State, OKC, Clips & Mem, Den.

There is nobody close to the spurs in the west
Clippers soft as anything
Memphis lacks scoring
Oklahoma City no defense
Houston no defense any erratic
No game series will even go seven games

No one is giving Portland any credit. They are a very good team with one of the best home court advantages in the NBA.
And you can still get them at 13-1 to win division , 30-1 to win the West, and 60-1 to win it all

You can't "miss the boat" on something that has 0% chance of happening..
Teams don't go from missing the playoffs to winning the west all of a sudden with the exact same core. I'm not saying this team is not good, they can be a team ala 2012/13 Warriors, but they ain't going to the finals. NO chance. ZERO.

The fact that the Spurs only have 4 Championships in 14 years of highly competitive basketball tells you how RIGGED THE NBA actually is....You have to look at the history of this particular squad, specifically Pop and the big three....they usually don't make it to the finals in back to back years...and it is my contention, that this is by design...this is the real source of friction between Pop and the NBA head office whom despise everything Pop and the Spurs stand for....the Spurs should be the favorite every year...and yet they have not won a ring in 6 years....this is by chance, as their is competition..but it is also by design....
Stern has given them extremely rough schedules year after year....especially on the road...and for an older team, this usually means, they run out of gas come playoff time...I expect the same to happen this year...and if it is indeed close, Crawford and his band of merry men...will step in and see to it...that they do not advance....There is a real possibility this year...of a Pacers/Spurs final...even more so with the recent departure of Derrick Rose....
One of those teams will NOT BE ALLOWED to advance to the Finals....this league is about storylines and narratives...the players with biggest shoe deals and most commercials will be front and center....Stern might tolerate Paul George and Hibbert who are becoming superstars right before our eyes...but the Spurs twice in a row? not bloody likely....

when will people learn that there is too much money in professional sports to have the majority of the games and leagues rigged? how much are you willing to pay players that already earn millions?

Home Court advantage too hard to overcome in playoffs because they are just not one game series like NFL
Spurs easy winner

It was a young nucleus last year that got another year to grow.I hope you are exaggerating about the zero chance. After the Spurs they can hang with anyone especially with home court.

I beg you to reconsider your position as it is clearly one of ignorance rather than stupidity.... This is a Spurs thread...so I will not broach the subject any further except to ask you to look into the EPIC BEATING Tim Donaghy received while serving time in prison for admitting to betting on rigged NBA games. He was beaten by a reputed mobster.....Just take a look into it and see what you come up with...or perhaps take a moment and google "Michale Franzese sports fix".....and see what you can come up with...

Seto, if you wouldn't take the Blazers to win the West at 100-1, then you're a gambler who knows NOTHING about value and destined to lose whatever bankroll you allocate to sports betting.

Check up my threads. Up over 100 units and have made over 1000 plays.
There is no "value" in something that has 0% chance of happening. Would you take the Kings to win the West at +100000000 too?

Uh...I took a bet for +1000. I don't expect to hit it. How did fading the Heat the past 3 years in the ECF do for you? Remember you said Spolestra would "NEVER" win the East? Thanks.
