With the odds that he had, it might not have been a surprise that he didn’t win the race. Better luck next time with this horse. Actually, I was a bit shocked that Hazelnut Expresso finished in the top 3 considering the odds. It just goes to prove that sometimes long-shots are not capable of finishing a race in the money and maybe even winning the race. Unfortunately not all racehorses have a pleasant fate awaiting them after their racing days are over, I sort of expected horse racing fans, especially those that follow some of the little guy races, to behave a bit differently.
