So i started a thread the other day to keep track of my NBA picks but decided to start a new one because i want my NBA and NFL picks on the same thread. Im just using this to keep track of my picks. Everyone wants to win so defiantly trying to make a profit.

Hope it doesn't backfire of ya Latino, but I would have done a 6.5 point teaser to ensure that you don't lose if the Hawks happen to win by just 1.
The last time I bought points for NBA, I took Bulls at -1.5 and they won by 1 point. I was pissed at myself, but learned a lesson. Better safe than sorry. Here are the rules I TRY to live by:

For Hoops,
If a team is (-1.5 to -3), go with the ML and put up a little more cash...OR put 1/2 on the Pt-Spread and 1/2 on ML.

For Football:
If a team is (+2.5 to +1.5), get to +3
If a team is (-3.5 to -4), get to -3
If a team is (-1.5 to -2.5), go for ML
If a team is (-7.5 to -8), get to -6.5

This is just my way of doing things and it's panned out pretty well.
I just get burned when trying to predict nba pt-spreads for favorites.
