Chiefs (+8)....they are 9-0 for petes sake and Manning has a high ankle sprain. That defense will be licking their chops....especially the front 7. About the high ankle sprain....should eff up Manning's throwing mechanics a bit. Need at least 2 weeks rest with that type of injury. Alex Smith will at least keep this game close for the Chiefs.
Looking at NBA this Saturday (11/16/13)
(a) Cavs +7.5 at Washington.....Cavs have played bad on the road but have faced some tough teams so far. Bobcats beating them twice a bit of an aberration.
(b) Mavericks (-2.5)....I like the Mavericks offense. They played Miami tough last night too. DeJuan Blair has been a beast so far for the Mavs and Dirk continues his hot shooting. Orlando is too inexperienced.
(c) Nuggets +8 at Rockets....3rd game in four nights for Denver but they are taking a Rockets team that struggles to barely beat compete against mediocre teams like the Lakers, Sixers, Knicks, Raptors and Wizards. I'll take Denver here with 8 points.
NCAA College Football -(11/16/13)
(a) Ole Miss vs. Troy - OVER 69 total points - This has 58-17 type score written all over it.
(b) Auburn (-3) - Just seem too athletic and fast for me. Georgia is very good this year but SEC is too stacked. Someone's gotta be the ugly step sister this year....it's Georgia.
(c) Houston (+17) - I think they can hang and put some points up against Louisville. Might lose by 11-14 points.
(d) Southern Methodist (-14) - They play UConn.....Uconn is terrible.
(e) Wisconsin (-21) - This is a power house offense. Beat Indiana by 48 last year.
(f) Oklahoma State (ML) - Texas is so overrated. They may keep it close but Oklahoma St is the better team. Wouldn't be surprised if Texas got blown out too.
