I'm afraid not. The way we're doing teams is to pay the exact % in the cash prize to the % that user paid in points.

You'd have to either increase your position and remove Ra77er, or find someone to take Ra77er's place.

People know when the bowl games start. You could set the deadline at any point in order to "gain more entries" but doing so after the games had already started just doesn't make any sense. If anything it's more confusing that the contest would begin midway through the first day of Bowl games.

I can't imagine SBR would hold an "NFL Playoff" contest and then not allow posters to bet the first Saturday so they could gain more entries and then start the contest on Sunday, but that's essentially what's happening here.

Also glad they didn't add totals. Keeping it the same was a good move it didn't need changed at all

It's a fun contest and should be great again.

They should have cut sign-ups off December 18th when lines were released and done picks due by December 20th 11:59 PM so all the games are in, but they didn't.

No use crying over spoiled milk. If you feel like you had an edge in one of the first 3 games, simply pick another game or drop out.

Yes. The contest is transparent and run through the forum. The format is a tribute to the late founder of MajorWager.

Lots of contests you have here allow you to make picks BEFORE the entry deadline, not sure why this is different?

You can set an 8pm deadline, but as long as you post your plays before any of the games kick... I fail to see why the first few games aren't included?

And just to show you... You've already lost 1 entry due to this decision plus who knows how many others that didn't sign up.


Sure hope you get at least that number of signups back between 2-8pm the very last day on a contest with a large entry fee that's been up for weeks (which you won't)

Don't think anyone ever said the deadline was changed, I knew what it was and chose to participate anyway. Bottom line is that it doesn't make any sense. It will still be a good contest and I appreciate it, this is just constructive criticism for making it better.
