Chiefs will come to play, get after the qb and play shut down man to man coverage. That's the blueprint. Smith won't gift wrap any short fields to manning either and hopefully Reid can control time of possession. Like kc chances here more than the implied odds. This isnt a gimmie for Denver. No play on the Muntil they meet in arrowhead however.

The question is, can the Chiefs score enough to not lose by 10. The Broncos are a different team at home. If the Broncos is smart they will re-activate Ronnie Hillman and counter with a bunch of screens to slow the Chiefs pass rush.

I am laying off the side in this one. If manning and the broncs can get up a score or 2 there is zero chance the chiefs can keep up on offense in mile high.

9.5 is ridiculous number but I could easily see this a 30-17 type of game (of course plenty of backdoor opportunity)

I'm interested in the total - I may splash around with the Under if the number is right. If the chefs are to have any chance to win they will need to ground and pound and keep it close

It will take amputation to keep PM off the field but Denver will have to run a more conservative offense to keep him upright. They'll have to run the ball more and keep Moreno in the backfield for protection. The dump offs to Moreno are a big part of the offense too. Prob line up w/Moreno and Julius Thomas in the backfield....one will block...other will chip and go out in the flat. I think 9-10 is about right....Under should be a winner.

Also lost in the Manning health situation is the improvement of Denver's D. They held SD to 20...one TD was a 11 yd drive after a fumble. They held Washington to 14 offensive pts. Denver will never be great on D but they need to hold people under 24 or so because even PM can't be expected to put up 40+ game in winter.
