A scenario I just thought of. In the name of safety, maybe schools would go to flag football rules, and then teach kids the art of tackling after the high school level. Either way, I see football as we know it being eliminated at the lower levels for good.

The sport is too barbaric.

Concussions are scary things that shouldn't be underestimated.

High school football would be adopted by private teams and kids would be playing in private minor leagues during High School.

Again, I think it will be illegal for any tackle football to take place among minors. It'll be hailed as child abuse, just like many in the mainstream attribute spanking to be. With the potential brain injuries that can happen, I've read articles about how people believe it is similar to dog fighting. The table is being set for this to happen. Just a matter of time.

I understand that, but NFL and College interests will try to keep it in schools. The last thing they want is the U.S. turning into a Soccer country!
Most people watch football because they played it as a kid.

You're talking about billions of dollars that the NFL will potentially lose because the next generation wouldn't care about football. The entire sport would die, which I can't see that happening in Texas especially!
