In other words do i need to order NBA league pass in order to give my self a chance?

I love how there are so many games to choose from.. very similar to MLB
    in that respect.

Whats your opinion.. which is more predictable MLB or NBA?

I like MLB from a fan stand point much better... but I may force my self to
watch and bet NBA in effort to make money.

stick to thread topic. How much NBA do you watch?

i'm currently watching this Bobcats vs Raptors game...

So far not impressed with Tyler Zeller. This guy just missed 2 easy free throws lol

i like doing MLB live betting cause even do the lines are higher on teams that are up by 1 or 2 runs, theres more of a chance of winning the wager.
In NBA anything can happen, so its harder... But you are better off doing moneylines on NBA if you dont know much about the teams especially in the beginning of the year.

Will not watch an entire nba game for the rest of my life. Just need to watch the last 2 minutes- that takes about an hour anyway.

There are no genuine high level NBA handicappers who do not watch hours upon hours of games. Anybody else who thinks they are going to crush NBA via "box score handicapping" is kidding themselves.

So far so good right ... not saying I'm elite, but if you do it right you can be successful.

Maybe I'm able to take advantage of these early season lines that are pretty fukked up, but it's only been a week, it could change.

Bigbear, the nba games are fixed. On every given night, the refs control how the game is dictated and who gets to play the majority of minutes. I watched blazers vs rockets other night and refs handicapped blazer team by calling phantom fouls on Lopez and Mathews. It is the refs world, hope we just land on the right side

Hell no, haven't watched 10 seconds of either Dallas or Thunder play this year and still hammered the Under 210.5 in their game last night. Until trends start to form after a few weeks you have to look at stats.

                                                          This is correct.

As far as baseball I feel that is a more accurate gauge of consistency, i.e. pitching and matchups one has to follow pitchers current form, batters form, and more advanced stats are available.

Basketball you're relying on 5 players who need to maintain defense and shooting, bench consistency, there is no primary reliance upon a single player to perform like on the mound putting the ball in play, and the NBA is one of the only sports where the refs can contribute directly to points being scored.

With that said, there are a lot of great Dog spreads during the week in the NBA, and if you don't see how a particular team is performing or alternatively underperforming its hard to gauge a sharp approach to a spread. Just look at how the Bulls and Grizzlies started their seasons, relatively low cohesion and offensive struggles galore yet they are still getting respect from the books (i.e. past form = current price), best way to beat the books on those lines.

All I know is that my NBA handicapping has improved drastically over the last 3 seasons and this directly correlates to my increased workload. I read everything I can, watch everything I can squeeze in and listen to every single solid NBA podcast (eye on basketball, hang time, NBA lockdown, full court press and the starters). And I study fukcing stats and trends until my eyes pop out. As my knowledge of the individual players and coaches grows, so does my understanding of the actual teams and what they are trying to achieve at any given point in the season, how they are feeling as a group, where the potential problems are, etc, etc, etc.
