I Was looking @ the odds to win the Olympic gold in men's ice hockey . My bookmaker is offering +230 on Canada and +260 on Russia. Is there any point in betting on one of those? I'm just thinking if both of the two teams make the finals, the odds should be pretty even for that particular game.

Do you think I should wait for the quarter finals and go all in for the amount I would have bet for example on Canada 3 times in a row(moneyline just in case)(should Canada make the finals). I think that's better value(only if Russia makes the finals too, though). What do you think? Thx

I would stay away from betting these props...there is a huge possibility that one of these teams or both would not make it to the final dance. See how these two play the first game or two and bet individual games instead. There is no reason to lock up your money right now at these odds...which in my opinion are not that great.
