Freeman had a 0% chance of winning MVP, sorry. I think that Goldschmidt deserves it but McCutchen will win it.
If Freddie Freeman doesnt win the NL MVP....

You're going by stats im going by who is more valuable You would be the only person I've ever heard including Espn Talking headex- players that say Puig wasn't responsible for saving dodgers season and Mattinglys job...mattingly even admitted it that puig basically saved his job...pretty much the day he shows up the dodgers turn around begins...but drinker says hes

#40What exactly is so amusing? Goldschmidt has the best stats, but McCucthen gets the votes for being the best player on the team that is the best story of the playoffs. Freeman is not even a top five candidate, even Kershaw would get more consideration than him.Originally posted by ksnookskWhen did you start doing standup?Comment -

#42Exactly. Look at Win Probability, look at Goldy's #'s from the 6th inning on. Guy was the definition of clutch. Freeman?Originally posted by LT ProfitsWhat exactly is so amusing? Common, bro. As far as fielding, Goldy had 5 errors (half as many as Freeman) and a .997 fielding %. Goldy is a gold glover, All-Star (without a lame vote off) and a deserving MVP. Freeman's #'s aren't there and he had a better team.

#43Mccutchen has it locked up. Does he deserve it? Yes. Do others? Sure. Freeman is not one of them though.Comment -

#44Freeman certainly deserves consideration, McCutchen should get it though. Freddie has had a great season relatively quietly. If Freeman were on the Yankees or Red Sox And they made the playoffs he'd be in the top 2 in votes.Comment -

#46No he won't. I'll bet anybody 100 points that Freeman does not finish in the top 5 in MVP voting. First 3 guys to send me 100 points have a bet.Originally posted by InTheDrinkhe will most certainly be in the top 5 in votesComment -

#47LOL at the OP here.
With a Fukkin Braves avatar, what a shocker. Hence the horrible thread posted.
Freeman won't even be top 5 most likely. Not knocking his numbers, but get real here.
Goldschmidt should run away with this but they will such off Mccutchen because his team won more games.
It will be close, but Goldie deserves it, hands down. Molina easily gets 3rd.
Guy is super clutch. I don't know how many game winning RBI he had this year but it had to be a decent amount.
He's an animal.Comment -

#48I'm gonna retract my statement after looking at it, Freeman could get exactly 5th here. I don't think Kershaw/Kimbrel beats him out.Originally posted by BennyBigNutsLOL at the OP here.

1-2 Goldie and Cutch (Hopefully Goldie wins)
3 Molina
4 Gomez
5 Freeman
6 Kimbrel

As expected, McCutchen wins, but Freeman did finish fifth, surprisingly two spots ahead of Kershaw in seventh.Comment -
