I've always been in the U.S.
I've just been a fan of rugby for a while. Some friends of mine introduced it to me years ago, and I have loved it since. I really love Rugby Union, but League is starting to grow on me. I don't watch too much club Rugby Union, but internationally I like South Africa as my Southern Hemisphere team and Ireland as my Northern Hemisphere team. When they play each other though, I side with the Springboks every time.
I just learned about cricket really just this year. I think I have learned a lot about it. I really like cricket and the main reason I really like it is because I think of it as kind of like baseball but far more interesting.
I am someone who feels that it is ok to rep multiple teams in a sport, as long as you choose one over the other when they play. Here is all the teams that I support.
MLB: NY Yankees (either them or the England National Team in soccer is my favorite all time team) for the AL, and Atlanta Braves for my NL team.
NFL: Baltimore Ravens, NY Giants (I generally rep NY based teams), Seattle Seahawks, New England Patriots (one of those times where I find it fine to like more than one AFC team in the sense that I want the Pats to win their division every year and then lose to the Ravens everytime they play), Atlanta Falcons, Denver Broncos (I am a huge Wes Welker fan).
NBA: NY Knicks (Metta World Peace is my favorite player along with Detroit Pistons rookie Peyton Siva, and Carmelo Anthony is one of my top 5 favorite players), San Antonio Spurs (I like Duncan and Parker a lot). I also really enjoy watching the Golden State Warriors play (I love watching Curry's exciting play) and the LA Clippers, but I don't rep either one of those.
NHL: NY Rangers in the East and Chicago Blackhawks in the West (I really like Patrick Kane).
Soccer: Liverpool FC in England, Real Madrid in Spain, AS Roma in Italy, and Bayern Munich in Germany. I like England and Germany for National teams.
Darts: Phil Taylor
Snooker: Judd trump when he is not being a douche.
College football: Georgia Tech, Miami, Stanford, Notre Dame (I have Irish ancestors so I rep Notre Dame), Alabama (my mom likes them so I watch them too).
College Basketball: I like coaches over specific schools and the coaches I like are Coach K, Rick Patino, and Tom Izzo so I rep Duke, Louisville (when these two teams are in the same conference it will get kind of odd for me as a fan, but I will just hope they each win a ton of games and Louisville beats Duke everytime they play), and Michigan State. I also like USC in the Pac 12.
Rugby Union: Ireland and South Africa
Cricket: really no opinion on a favorite team, but I will probably ultimately roll with South Africa.
Here is the list of team's I hate: Manchester United, Chelsea, Barcelona, Syracuse, Kentucky, UCLA, North Carolina, Pittsburgh Steelers, and while I can't stand the Boston Red Sox I have learned to respect them.Comment -

#458Damn bubbles you've got every angle covered haha. I'm mainly LA myself - Lake Show, Angels, Kings (no NFL team). I'm fond of a few NBA teams and dislike many as well, basically have an intense opinion on every single NBA team. I'm also probably the only Lakers fan who also likes the Clippers. No bandwagon fan, I suffered through the post Shaq - Kwame Brown/Smush Parker era - horrible... I used to live in NY, you would think I would support some NY teams. Oh well.Comment -

#469Won on the Heat moneyline and Lakers ATS bet, and lost on the prop.
Still finished up between those three plays.
Bankroll A now at +10.889 units and Bankroll B now at +10.229 units.
Adding another cricket play.
We're going back to the Australia vs India series.
Here's the angles: these teams are very, very close. The ODI split is 2-1 in favor of Australia and 2 of the matches have not been finished or even started because of rain. So there is 2 ODI's left in this 7 match ODI series. If India loses tonight the series is a disappointment for them and they are at home. India is ranked number 1 still in ODI rankings and Australia is ranked number 2.
We are taking India moneyline vs Australia at -165. Betting 0.660 units to win 0.4.
We are also going to get started on the South Africa vs Pakistan ODI series which starts this morning.
We are taking South Africa moneyline vs Pakistan at -150. Betting 0.150 units to win 0.1.Comment -

#4705Dimes has it that the India match starts at 4 AM and the South Africa match starts at 7 AM this morning.
Cricket times can be off though and since 5Dimes had the above lines posted that were shown in post #469, I would get in on these games very soon.
***Also when I placed my bet on the India match just now, 5Dimes had adjusted the line from -165 to -155. So now the bet in the above post is corrected to be betting 0.620 units to win 0.4 at a price of -155.Comment -

#475South Africa won the cricket match so now we are at +11.389 units on Bankroll A and +10.729 units on Bankroll B.
That was the most epic cricket match I've ever seen. First off SA set a run total of 183 which over the course of an ODI match is not that good of a score in my opinion. An ODI is made up of 50 overs in which in each over you are bowled 6 balls for a total of at least 300 balls (certain things can give you free balls). Looking at the other match today, India scored 351 runs to beat Australia's 350.
So Pakistan trying to beat 183 shouldn't have been that hard, but Pakistan's batting is inconsistent and SA's bowling is amazing in my opinion.
Pakistan was putting up the numbers that they needed to but then they lost 5 wickets (so got 5 of their batters out of the game) in overs 40 to 43 and then with already having lost wickets before, they were down to the last wicket. then with still having until the end of the 49th over to get the last few runs needed (after the sixth ball in the 49th over is bowled (so the scoreboard shows 49.6) it almost instantly changes from 49.6 to 50.0 and the match is over) their required run rate to win the game got to 0.57 runs per over. With only needing to get 1 run an over from 6 balls an over, the possibility of a Pakistan not winning had to have been exponentially small.
Then in the 45th over, SA didn't get 2-3 calls that should have gone their way in order to get the final out and in the 46th over SA finally got the last out and won by 1 run.
This series will be awesome and when SA gets their batting back on track they should win the ODI series overall.Comment -

#476Adding NY Knicks moneyline vs the Bucks at -340. Betting 0.34 units to win 0.1.
Even though it is real money, I'm kind of feeling like I'm in a "free-rolling zone" after these good hits last night and this morning. I feel like I am "seeing the plays" so that is why I am taking this higher than -200 moneyline in NBA, which I generally wouldn't do. I feel like the Bulls will beat the Knicks when they play and I don't think the Knicks will lose their first 2 games.
Also adding Miami Heat -10.5 vs the 76ers at -110. Betting 0.055 to win 0.05
this is probably my first time ever where I am betting on a basketball team to cover a double digit spread so I am kind of dipping my toe in the water on this play. I feel like the 76ers are one of these teams that want to tank to try to pick up more high draft picks. I hate the tanking thing because I think it is a real bitch move, but the NBA is a bitch league in general.
Later on in the night depending on how it goes, I may add more to my Lakers ATS bet.Comment -

#479So far tonight we won on the Knicks moneyline and lost on the two Heat plays.
The 76ers beat the Heat, lol.
I thought I saw a good spot on the Heat but I was wrong and tonight's game showed me once again, why I don't like betting on the Heat.
The Heat are the laziest team in pro sports.
Now we are at +11.134 units on Bankroll A and at +10.474 units on Bankroll B.Comment -

#485Winner on the Michael Van Gerwen bet and loser on the South Africa bet.
The South Africa cricket series vs Pakistan actually seems to be pretty close now, so I think I will be rolling with the home side now (Pakistan) instead of South Africa for the rest of the series.
Bankroll A now at +10.458 units and Bankroll B now at +9.798 units
Next bet is India moneyline vs Australia in cricket. The winner of this final ODI will be the winner of the series and India is the home side. The line on India is -160. Betting 0.32 units to win 0.1.Comment -

#490There was a typo on post 485. It was betting 0.32 units to win 0.2 units not 0.1, since the line was -160.
Anyways, India won and Bankroll A is now at +10.658 units and Bankroll B is now at +9.998 units.
Adding Michigan State moneyline to beat Michigan at -185. Betting 1.11 units to win 0.6.
