I know he he was O Cord of A&M last year but lets be honest, the players make it happen. and Manziel got this guy this job.

I know Tech is loaded at skill positions BUT their starting QB is out and they will be rotation quarterbacks, which is never a good thing, so it doesn't matter if you have skill players if you can't get the ball to them.

meanwhile SMU is returning 11 starters 6 on offense, this is gonna be the year Garret Gilbert puts up monster numbers in June Jones offense and return 5 on a defense, that had 37 take aways last year (3rd in the nation)

play SMU +4.5 and SMU TT OVER 28

Total seems like a crapshoot to me. Who knows what style Kliff will go with. Will he go uptempo with the true freshman walkon QB? I wouldn't think so but who knows

Homefield not worth much....more TT grads in DFW than Texas or A&M believe it or not. Its still better than playing in Lubbock. I'll take SMU +180 all day considering QB and coaching experience....esp since Gilbert was a Texas recruit and this walk-on kid at TT was barely offered anything by anyone. SMU returns a better secondary too which is everything with the ball going up 80+ times tonite.

Kid looked pretty good for TT.....dropped pass saved 4 points. SMU decided to lay back though and only rush 3.....sure they'll bring more pressure
