I wouldn't play it unless it's at +570 or better. Spurs win one of every three series so 33% of the time. Figure about 45% of the time the Spurs win it'll be Duncan, Parker the other 45%, and the remaining 10% everyone else. That leaves Parker winning the MVP about 15% of the time overall, you need about +570 just to break even.

because I don't think Duncan has any chance of winning it. If the Spurs win the series it will be because of Parker's extraordinary play. Duncan will put up solid numbers without a doubt but Parker will be the one carrying the offensive load when needed with his scoring and passing.

This is the smartest play if you like the Spurs.
If the Spurs win it, Parker is 90% likely to get the MVP over Duncan. The only thing I see though is Duncan should have a BIG series here vs the Heat scubs in the paint.
Parker still gonna slap chalmers up hard either way.

Looks like a solid bet if you like the Spurs. I don't think they can win it, but I'm sure as fk rooting for them.

Saying Duncan has no chance when he's already won 3 and will have a matchup advantage is extreme. The odds favor Parker and rightly so but I would hedge a bit if I thought SA takes the series.

No way Green should get it. He is just a better version of Bruce Bowen: a much better spot-up shooter who cannot create his own shot on a consistent basis, but a worse defender btw. Parker deserves it if the Spurs win (unless Manu or Duncan put up two incredible games or Green makes 30 3-pointers from half-court). Don't forget that Parker has been carrying them all playoffs and that will influence the decision. If Miami wins, Wade has actually been more valuable than Lebron.

Of course, the decision will be made by some media clowns. They just gave Ovy the NHL MVP which he absolutely did not deserve.
