Not saying he's not a really good player. Not saying nobody should like him. But there's a lot of nonsense talk about KD being better than Lebron, how nice and soft spoken this kid is, etc.

All I'm saying is this should finally pump the brakes. Sure he's one of the best players in the league but his flaws have been exploited in this series. He lacks much physicality in his game and refuses to post up and use his ridiculous height advantage. On top of that he sure seems to do a lot of whining and complaining.

Yea yea yea I know Westbrook is hurt. I didn't realize the rest of the Thunder team is a bunch of dogs - I mean they did win a shit-ton of games and last I checked Martin and Ibaka were supposed to be pretty darn good players. I thought Westbrook was holding this team back anyway

Oh and didn't Lebron take a bunch of stiffs to the Finals back in 07 and get past a team that is very similar to this Grizzlies team in the Detroit Pistons? Fukk I come off as a Lebron lover here but unfortunately someone has to do it.

even with Westbrook I don't think they would have gotten past Memhpis. They didn't look anywhere near the previous year team in the regular season and they looked very vulnerable on the road. And of course Harden can't be replaced.

A few comments to defend Durant:

-He was constantly facing double teams vs Memphis and Tony Allen is hands down one of the top 3 on ball defenders in the league
-EVERY star/superstar complains non stop, its just the way the NBA is because they can still get away with it
-Yes LeBron led a bunch of scrubs to the finals in Cleveland, but his team was built around him the way the Heat are built around him now. He was surrounded by a bunch of knock down shooters to where the defense couldn't double him or leave them open unlike KD with this current team.
-The Westbrook injury is huge. It puts a lot more pressure on Durant to handle the ball and score. This team was built as a complete team, not around their star. I'm sure Durant would of performed a lot better with Chalmers and Battier instead of Jackson and Thabo because the defense would be forced to stay home with those guys.

I also don't think Durant was ready to "carry" the team. He seemed spent in the post game interview a couple days back.
