SBR is missing a "John Kelly"

This thread will probably last all of five seconds, but I feel like this board doesn't have that one sharp, level-headed guy who ties it all together. Kelly is knowledgeable, mild-mannered and cordial to other posters. He also helps the board win and shares his experiences through his daily blogs. If SBR had a guy like that in PT and roaming the sub-forums right now, I think you'd see a second wind.

Justin didn't have the personality John does. Plus, I always felt like there were conflicts of interest wit him (not sure if that's accurate or not). John seems to be a "what you see is what you get" kind of guy.

Without John, EOG would be nothing. I know a lot of SBR posters have migrated over there for one reason or another, but frankly, it's still a vastly inferior product to SBR. However, I check in just to read John's stuff every day.

In a lot of ways, JJ was SBR's John Kelly. Of course they were totally different in most aspects, but there were similarities.

SBR has tremendous assets in its subforums, but you often have to dig deep to find them and they aren't really the representatives that John is for EOG. SBR needs someone to balance out the board idiots who contribute nothing. They've kind of taken over PT. It's sad to think a superior product like SBR could lose out to EOG in the areas that matter most, but that's what is happening right now and John is a huge reason why.

You could be "that guy." Rudy could too. You are two of the closest things SBR has to filling that kind of role.

Does SBR listen to anyting any posters suggest? Sure doesn't seem like it, because I've seen some great ideas come down the pike and almost none of them have been applied.
