I can relate to the friends relationships one - I have a £50 bet with someone that by the end of 2013 a particular friend will either be engaged or his girlfriend will be pregnant. We even had a stipulation that the baby's conception date had to be in 2013, so gives me a little bit more room to win on the bet if they dont announce the pregnancy till early 2014.
The problem is, this bet was made late one night in the pub and although I can remember all the details of the bet itself...I can't actually remember which other friend I had the bet with
