Don't try to figure out who will. The books are offering heat +125 to win. People are betting this shit line thinking they are making a free qtr. Heat won't win. Winning 2 years straight is very hard.

Problem is trying to beat them over the course of an entire series. Pacers had them right where they wanted them last year and completely crumbled. If it were a one-and-done situation like football, I'd agree. I just don't see a team beating Miami four times out of seven, unless it's the Spurs.

I do know one thing: there will not be a Finals rematch this year.

It's a watered down nba. The rest of the league is pretty shitty.

But just look back in history. The entire history of this league has been based on teams winning multiple championships over stretches of time and very often back to back championships. Christ bro the fukking Houston Rockets won back to back. It's not as hard in this sport. Others yes.

i think this streak will destroy them. too much effort put into it. lots of older players putting alot into the games now will hurt them in the playoffs. worn down vets facing the pacers will be tough.

I agree about that point. Been arguing the same thing. Peaking way too early and they are going to have to win a series not playing their best ball in the playoffs. I just think at the end of the day they will get by. I'm pretty convinced they get one 7 game series in the East.

If heat stay healthy, there is simply no stopping them.
The streak does not matter a great deal come playoff time, but the adversity they have faced of late (4th quarter comebacks against boston and cleveland to name a couple) will be good for them should they find themselves down late.
How anyone can go against the heat in a best of 7 is beyond me.

This team can potentially get the longest winning streak in the history of the game, but they are built for the playoffs. This streak is just an added bonus. Nobody will beat them, especially since the East is extremely weak with maybe 1 team in the Pacers giving them a test.
