So, how about a drunk Black story as I make my last drink before I go to bed.
So, I take $18- dollars to the Hard Rock cause I'm goin' stir crazy sitting here tonight.
I buy in for $40 at the roulette table & I start hiting everything.
I mean I bet High it comes 24, I bet odd it comes 11. I hit for about $75 dollars & leave the table, I head to the cage And cash out but on my way out, I see an open Black Jack Table for $15 minimum. I sit down & my dealer is this clown named DOW. He's nor asian but he has these gooft lookin' glasses on & seems nice st 1st so I place a toke bet in the corner for him & everything's going fine........

So, I ask DOW if my chips are OK here at the table while I go buy a pack of Cigarettes. He nods.
I go to the gift shop, pick up a pack & return to the table, This joker doesn't ask me, he TELLS me to keep the smoke off THE TABLE & I ask, Oh, no smoking at this table?"
"NO, I don't want it blowing in my face." he replies
I look at him like he's kidding & he stares at me till I move my smoke.
Like he's the only dealer in Vegas that doesn't tolerate smoke for tips.
I start counting my chips & ask to color up then the Pit sends in a new dealer.
I ask the new dealer If DOW is the most pretentious dealer in the casino and he answers, "I don't know sir."
I say, "Well I'm tanked & was likely to donate this entire $280 that's sitting in front of me, back to the house but, Dow was such a dick that I'm gonna colour up & leave."
The pit comes over eyes up the new dealer as I leave & I say, "Thanks for the cash, I'll play here again but, I'll never tip again."

Now as most of you must know by now, I used to deal the game before & in Canada where we pooled all of our tips.
For those of you who don't know, this mean I would work a table & have good time all night long & cheer for the players while to my left there was an ass hole who treated the players like $H|T all nigh & they would get a portion of my tips. I know for a fact that DOW kept all his tips to him self & still treated players like shit.
So I explained to the pit that I used to deal & would never treat a tipping player the way DOW did but, because he was such a douche I am leaving the table & ill be back to rape DOW the next time I see him turning over cards like the monkey he is.

I was met with a :Thank you sir.", left he table with chips that I would have otherwise have donated back.
I guess I'm a bit of a dick when I play Black Jack drunk but, c'mo.n

You make youer living off of tips & still treat the people paying you like $h|t?

You are 100% wrong about HR dealers keeping their own tips. Aside from poker, no dealers keep their own tokes unless they are stealing them. Why would you play at a table with an Asian male dealer at a place packed with hot female dealers like the Hard Rock? Your complaints to a pit supervisor got the reaction you should have expected. Haven't read any of the posts since my twisted night last night. I feel like I had a nice thread going here & now I feel rather embarrassed.
I have taken alot of slack for my drinking over this trip & I believe everyone's entitled to their opinion. The fact of the matter is I can generally handle my alcohol. I drink, I get drunk but, I still have fun & am in control of my faculties.
Last night was the most I have drank since I've been here. Man, That's the most I've drank this year.
I went through about 30 oz.'s of Rye before I left my room & I know I was drinking White Russians at the HRH. I don't know exactly how many but, I'm sure it was DD.
Either way, I hope this thread has served as more of an instructional tool. Everyone likes watching someone's Vegas Story, as long as it doesn't turn into a Leaving Las Vegas-type story. It appears I am gonna be leaving Las Vegas very soon. I lasted just under 4 weeks. About an eighth of the amount of time I wanted to. This means either one of two things. I'll need to bring 8 times more cash next time or drink an eightyth less!
I'm not gonna carry the laptop with me today so, I won't be checking back in until I am in better spirits. Gonna try to do something with this last $280 I have left. Here's an email I received from Coop:
Make a large play on Marquette. Miami is missing their big guy and Marquette plays a pace Miami doesnt handle well . Take the 5.5 points
Also, huge bet on Ohio State-how the penetrate are they only favoured by 3. We saw Arizona, they looked bad losing to a suspect UCLA team.

Pretty good rationale behind both those picks. I remember that the zebras really played a role in that game we saw but the refs are really gonna have to help Zona if they are gonna stay tight against the Buckeyes.I'll put a small wager on the Golden Eagles cause the funds are runnin' pretty thin in Sin City Coop!

I've done a 180 on JV

He tells us how his drinking is under control but he's gambling on shit that ends up barely or not even remembering.

My perception is that you see these guys who are spiraling out of control and you dehumanize them and just think of them as dumb fuks. This thread shows that there is a little more to it than that in a lot of these cases but I'd guess that JV is one of these types. JV seems to be a prisoner to his vices no matter what he says (and I can't believe he's saying what he really thinks). He's said the drinking would relax when coop left. It hasn't. At all. In fact it's gotten worse according to the last post he made.
