I've always thought the two nicest places to stay on the strip were the 2 places I can't afford to stay.
The Wynn & the Aria.
I believe the Aria is being sold by MGM and they are acquiring The Cosmo.

Anyway...I've only seen a few Circ's like LOVE & KA & O
Blue man group, Chris Angel & Fador all suck.
I've always wanted to see Bill Maher there.

Actually there is some really great Canadian content...depending on when in November you will be there.

Bryan Adam's is at the Wynn Nov 10-20
The 2nd greatest Canadian band of all time is at the Golden Nugget Nov 26 THE GUESS WHO

Also Celine Dione is at Rrsorts World but, who cares when that is!

What you really need to do is make sure you are there Nov6 or 7th & you can see The Greatest band of all time at Allegiant

Aria isn’t what it was 4-5 years ago. It was the only place I stayed at for a long time. I’m going to give Resorts World a try my next trip.

Wynn is still great. Perfect place if you’re bringing your wife or girlfriend.

Personally I think the Cosmo is great (amazing food choices, excellent pool scene) but you will deal with riff raff.

Circa is perfect for a guys trip to Vegas. Ridiculously cool sportsbook and pool and Barry‘s Steakhouse is the best in town.

Wow. Had no idea. Apparently that just closed. Aria and Vdara. And yet I'm staying at Vdara through mlife. It looks like Aria still uses mlife rewards. The Aria website still comes up under mgm resorts. I've stayed at Aria, very nice. I like their casino too. Nice poker room, but Sportsbook is actually a bit cramped.

Oh OK, so from a customer standpoint those properties are still seen as part of the MGM family of properties.

For the money, Mandalay Bay was upscale and nice, but the walls were paper thin and you could hear other guests roaming the halls, etc.

Treasure Island was surprisingly nice and the wife and I even got upgraded to a view of the strip. Definitely worth the money and looking into.

New York and Paris were both better than I thought and MGM was way worse than I thought.

you can go to priceline and look at their "pricebreakers" they offer 3 hotels and you will be put in one of those 3. With a little detective work, you can pretty much figure out which one you're going to get (i.e.; the cheapest of the bunch).

Luxor you have a chance of an STD just going to sleep there.....then again when i went to cosmo last , there was still 2 rails of coke laying on the white rail that the maid missed.....no lie....still best hotel on the strip....
