Good game, got tied up had to watch it on DVR. How Saad gets by two Capitals players to get that tying goal was just awful defense. As a goaltender, you NEVER EVER let an offensive player skate behind your crease...made for a weak goal by Kane. Oduya's goal was extremely weak as Holtby basically shoveled it into his own net, even though it was redirected. Caps could never maintain the momentum when they needed it due to their shoddy defensive play. They put Holtby on an island several times and he had to make some big saves. Penalties were about even, the Carrick hook that led to the Blackhawks' 3rd goal was ticky tack at best (there is a reason they never replayed it, broadcast was pretty Blackhawk biased imo with Olczyk up there...conflict of interest much?), but Green should have had a penalty for closing his hand on the puck on that 5-3, so it evened out. Caps failed to capitalize on the big 5-3. Not sure if Crawford made that save on the back door, or if it hit the post, too hard to tell. Ovie lazy out of the offensive zone and non existent back check per usual, frustrating to see a player of his skill not play two ways. Anyway, the way the game went, I doubt the Caps win if it went to an OT or SO, just the way the game was playing out.

Seeing (-135) 1st 60 at 5Dimes, saving some juice here. Sabres are generally an under .500 road team. Red Wings own at the Joe. Not a ton of analysis here.

Good luck, JJ. I like fading the Leafs after a physical win on back to back road games. Both teams play a pretty wide open style of hockey. Philly seems to never play defense and I need to see Bernier in a Leafs sweater and Mason in a Flyers sweater before I could make a play on that game.

Smoke, I'm not a big totals guey. Out of 189 regular season plays last season, 18 were totals. The Flyers/Maple Leafs total is getting heavily juiced...you won't see many o/u at 6 outside of Philly/Pitt.

First post, here but followed along last year. Not sure if I am willing to take the risk of Detroit 1 1/2. Hard to tell so early in the season, so might stick with the safe one.
