For me it's Skyline Pigeon by Elton John. And not the studio cut off his first album, Empty Sky. The live performance he did for the Queen at London's Royal Festival Hall is by far the most emotional recording of it. Although it was written as a hymn and first performed on a harpsichord, it's one of pop music's finest compositions.
I was listening to it the day after I lost my virginity, driving from Oregon to California, and I must've listened to it on repeat for at least four hours. Just hearing the intro brings a smile to my face to this day.
