I don't think they're trying to screw you. Super overs haven't even been around for that long and isn't even used for tests. He just might not have updated their rules from back then. Talk to Tony and he'll sort it out I'm sure. CS Reps might not even know what a super over is.

Definitely not your fault. But that's why they told you to talk to Tony and I'm confident he'll fix it up. Cricket isn't a big sport offshore. If this were a UK or Aussie book then yeah I'd be surprised by them not updating their rules. But for a newer rule that hardly comes into play and is only for T20's and now ODI's at an offshore book when most don't even offer cricket? Not shocked at all. Just talk to him and see what he has to say. No use getting angry until you do.

Seriously don't talk to anyone else but Tony. You'll just get too frustrated. Their CS have always been excellent with me with regular stuff but if I had an issue like yours he's the only one I'd want to talk to. Since they're the ones who suggested it to you in the first place, just get on live chat and ask to talk to him directly. It'll save you so much grief, I promise.

Industry standard is now to settle via the official result which would include the super over. Just checked Skybet, Sportsbet.com.au, and Will Hill. I can remember betting cricket matches last year where the Super Over was not included.

Awesome! I've never seen a situation where he hasn't been cool unless he suspects/knows someone's trying to pull a dodgy. Now we'll know that rule there as the Astros148 rule.

FYI for any Aussie bettors - Sportingbet will pay out on the result but not on the props when super overs happen. Kind of expected that to be the case I guess but it's good to have confirmation.

those are my open bets now the match went into a "super over" after the regulation ended and my team won, and they are saying they will not pay me and talk to tony about this

In there rules it states

A super over is not a bowl off or toss of coin, and is actually a over time period, so they should pay me?????? Its not my fault there rules are faulty? it seems like they wrote there rules to make a decision on there own based on if its profitable for the book to decide?

I would have a guess that he contacted customer service was given one of the minions and expected that it would be dealt with. I think Astros just learned that CS at 5Dimes sucks outside of Tony.

I remember that month very well. Tony was a big help, and so was the real agent, who paid us all. Always wondered if T had an "accident" after that debacle? That sure was a lot that he was short. Can't imagine being short six-figures is just forgotten about.

I was only owed 10k, but I thought for sure I was going to get stiffed. Since half of that was owed to a friend of mine, I was really sick when I thought I was getting shafted. I'll always be thankful to Tony for his help, even though he had no direct liability. And I'll always be thankful to the man who sent the package.

Just wanted to say that I appreciate these stories you and BG shared. My credit experiences have been with locals when I was living in the US and an Aussie book who kept raising my limit to insane past mid five figure amounts despite my telling them to stop. Made for some funny conversations back when SBR Chat was active. But I've never personally experienced a situation where someone tried to cut and run although I'd obviously heard of it. It was just never for a decent amount or when they were even loosely associated with a stand up book. Happy to hear Tony did what he could to help you guys get sorted out. Like I said - and maybe some will differ - but unless he thinks you're trying to pull one over on him, he's always appeared to be a stand up guy. Thanks again!
