This guy looks like an absolute stud when he gets playing time. A prototypical quarterback is apparently what Mora is looking for and I think it is public and front office pressure that he never started over Vick. Was it the new Jets coach who made a move to get him out of Atlanta recently and failed?
Don't get me wrong, I would rather have Vick, but in the right offensive setting, not out of the west coast formation.
So is this guy wasting away as Vicks backup? They are relatively close in age and if he stays in Atlanta he will be second string as long as Vick is healthy. Would you guys want Schaub on your team? Am I overrating a backup QB? Any thoughts in general as to what The Falcons should do with him?

Maybe I'm dreaming, but I would love to see Schaub at QB and Vick at WR.

Schaub is a better quarterback than Vick. Actually, he is far superior.

I remeber last year, I stated that Brad Johnson was a better quarterback than Culpepper on the Colts message board. Of course, everyone just called me a racist and said that if he was better, he'd be starting. Well, looking back on it now, it looks as though I was right as usual.

These GM's need to get over this dumb infatuatuion with these running quarterbacks.

Sometimes i can't beleive what I hear. For instance, Skip Bayless this morning said the Texans would be dumb if they didn't take Fumbles McSramble with the 1st overall pick.

Come on, is that not the most asinine thing you ever heard? I'd love to give my reasons of why Fumbles will suck to Skip and would like to hear his defense because my reasoning as usual is far superior. In fact, i may be the greatest thing ever made and a large percentage of this population is not even fit to look at me.

I loved Schaub's ability to use other WR threats other than Crumpler. W/ Vick you know on obvious passing downs, he is gonna go to the TE and NO ONE else.
