Chargers vs Patriots Wild Card Picks and Discussion
The Chargers travel across the country to take on the Pats on Sunday night. New England is -3.5 with a total of 46.

The Patriots have been the breakout team of the year while the Chargers have flown under the radar with no one really talking about them going into the playoffs.

I give NE the slight advantage but think there is enough value to take shot on LAC +166 moneyline. Think this is a 1 score game either way.

How are you betting this one?

The Chargers getting support from the SBR betting analysts on the NFL Picks page:

    LA Chargers +3.5 (-105)
"The Los Angeles Chargers haven't allowed more than 20 points in the last six games and once in the previous 10. I'm expecting that unit to keep them in the game." - Gary Pearson

    LA Chargers ML (+174)
"New England played just two teams that ended the regular season with winning records (Bills and Steelers). That means 13 of its 14 wins came against teams under .500." - Mike Spector

A couple other plays posted for Chargers/Patriots:

      Under 46 (-110)
"The math is simple here: the Chargers will have difficulties moving the ball against a strong pass defense in New England (and with the worst offensive line in football), and the Patriots' offense will likely have some difficulties scoring against Los Angeles' fifth-ranked defense. " - Dustin Saracini

Justin Herbert Under 29.5 Rushing Yards (-110)
"In the 12 games New England has had a healthy Milton Williams, it has allowed 56.3 rush yards per game and 3.2 yards per carry. In the five games without him, the Patriots have allowed 127.0 rush yards per game and 5.2 yards per carry." - Mike Spector

Some Patriots support shows up on the board:

        New England -3.5 (-108)
"The Patriots have all the pieces to go on a deep playoff run, starting with NFL MVP contender Drake Maye. While I don't expect Maye to be at his best against a strong Chargers defense, he has the better weapons and coaching than his counterpart, Justin Herbert." - Liam Fox
