SBR's Esten McLaren has his 3 best anytime touchdown picks for Week 1 posted:

Ollie Gordon II (+235 via DraftKings)

"Ollie Gordon II, selected in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins, is in line to play a much larger role in Week 1 than his draft position might suggest. Starting running back De'Von Achane (calf) has been limited in practice this week, and backup Jaylen Wright (knee) didn't participate in Wednesday's session, according to the team's injury report.

That should open up plenty of work for Gordon in his debut behind QB Tua Tagovailoa."

The Dolphins are 1.5-point betting underdogs on the road against the Indianapolis Colts, but the game's 47.5-point Over/Under in the friendly confines of Lucas Oil Stadium is one of the highest totals of Week 1. The Dolphins' implied team total is 23 points."

    Matthew Golden (+230 via FanDuel)

"We're sticking on the rookie train and backing Green Bay Packers first-round pick Matthew Golden to score the first of what Cheeseheads will hope to be many career touchdowns against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field.

Golden, the No. 23 pick in April's draft, enters Week 1 listed as the No. 1 receiver on the right side for QB Jordan Love (who's my NFL MVP bet, by the way). The Packers are 2.5-point home favorites against the reigning but new-look NFC North champions, and we have another bettor-friendly Over/Under of 47.5."

    Keon Coleman (+210 via FanDuel)

"The Sunday Night Football odds list the Buffalo Bills as 1.5-point underdogs at home against the Baltimore Ravens, but the 50.5-point Over/Under is exactly what we want to see when setting out to make anytime touchdown scorer predictions.

Coleman, the 33rd overall pick of last year's draft, scored four touchdowns and accrued 556 yards in his second season while playing just 13 games. Now a starter with the Bills, I expect his familiarity with QB Josh Allen to make him a threat in the red zone in what's a potential AFC Championship preview on NBC."

Two more from SBR's Esten McLaren:

      Kyle Pitts Sr. (+270 DraftKings)

"I'll never quit Kyle Pitts in fantasy football or the anytime touchdown scorer betting market. The "Unicorn", a former first-round pick, enters his fifth-year contract option needing to erase the "bust" label that's been built up over his last three season after a comparatively strong rookie campaign.

He scored a career-high four touchdowns last season with two of those coming in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Sure, Kirk Cousins was his quarterback in that game - and during his best stretch of last season - but there have been many reports of his chemistry with new Falcons starter Michael Penix Jr., over the offseason.

Wide receiver Darnell Mooney is questionable but expected to play on Sunday. This could thrust Pitts into being Penix's No. 2 option behind Drake London."

      Brian Robinson Jr. (+440 FanDuel)

"Christian McCaffrey (calf) remains questionable for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks despite he and head coach Kyle Shanahan downplaying the former Offensive Player of the Year's appearance on the Week 1 injury report.

However, the 49ers didn't trade for Brian Robinson Jr., during the preseason just to continue using Run CMC in a workhouse role when he's anything less than 100% during the regular season.

Robinson had a career-high eight rushing scores last season, and he totaled nine as a rusher and receiver two years ago. I expect him to see most of his usage around the goal-line, and I'm back to back the "vulture" in Week 1"
