What is the problem with the Lions?
I've never thought Joey Harrington was all that good, but today I thought he played well. He can't be blamed for an interception that occurs when the ball is in the air and the receiver trips and falls. Nor can he be blamed for all those dropped passes. So why did Mooch put Garcia in? He didn't do any better and, if anything, his passes were not as accurate as Harrington's.

I don't get this team. Buck and Aikman said that Mooch admitted that he still needs to instill in his team how they should practice. It's week 12 and they still don't know how to practice?!? The Lions are undiciplined, unfocused and make stupid mistakes, and they've been this way for awhile. Whoever is coaching doesn't seem to matter, they still vastly underperform. Does this team need to be purged? Yet another new head coach? Front office changes?

I am still steaming over Dallas missing a lousy 33 yard FG. What a loser.

        Where do I begin?

I'm just hoping they can Mariucci so that the Packers can hire him next season!

i wonder if this loss is gonna get matt millen fired in the next few weeks now. i'm thinking that would be the logical choice. he has had more than enough chances to turn that team around, and failed miseralbly.

Millen seems to be bulletproof, doesn't he? I'm thinking that when the same problems persist through three or more coaches then the problem is with the players, but the Lions have turned over enough of their roster that you'd think an attitude shift would have happened by now. Maybe they, like the Red Sox formerly did, suffer under a curse. The curse of Barry Sanders perhaps?

i wouldn't say it's a curse at all. i think the mooch wants to run the ball a little more than matt millen and the rest of the management wants too.

If Mooch is fired, he's more than welcome in Green Bay. He's coached here already and he wouldn't have to move that far. He would get Favre to stick around at least one more season too. Only coaches I would rather see in Green Bay are Jon Gruden, Jim Mora Jr., or Charlie Weis.
