    Anyone have feedback on sharpfootballanalysis.com?
    Hi Guys,

I came across this website www.sharpfootballanalysis.com. The guy is claiming that he hit 67% last season (80-40-3). His package is $315 for the season. Does anyone have any feedback on this service?

    Complete scam.

If he hit 67% in NFL he would not sell his secret.

i actually can give you some helpful feedback here. i followed this guy a good amount last year. he didn't start selling picks until week 9, and up through week 8 he was hitting pretty darn good, if i remember right he was a bit higher than 67% through the first 8 weeks. i didn't purchase his picks because i don't bet enough money to make it worth it, plus i had a system of my own that was doing pretty well.

however, you can see all of his picks from the last few years in various forums i believe, unedited posts and he has quite a strong reputation. if i bet enough i'd definitely purchase his plays, he's a reliable guy and one of the few honest touts out there. if he says he hit 67%, he hit it.

80-40 is bullshit. Dont believe anyone who says they went 67% betting NFL sides or totals, its impossible.

he's got documentation on most of it... and previous seasons as well. he offered free plays for a few years as far as i understand and now he's charging $15 a week. i know 80-40 sounds far fetched, but he did it

I became a member just to comment, but I have referred clients to SBR.com to research/review books before choosing one, so I'm not unfamiliar with the site, just this forum.

I appreciate your positive comments kroyrunner and I am glad you were able to take advantage of my plays last year.

            Rich Boy,

I will tell you what I tell everyone who has the "its impossible" view:

Hitting over 60% for an extended period of time (more than a season or two) is difficult but is possible.

I know this for a fact because I have done it and currently am doing it. 67% for 3 seasons now... (And the higher over 60%, the tougher it is to sustain, those who have done it will definitely agree.) You are right to "be skeptical" but if someone documents the fact that they can hit at such a high rate, you have no alternative but to accept it.

The people who believe it is impossible are the people who have never done it and have not even come close. They can't imagine someone being able to do it because they themselves are so unable. But that does not mean that there are not those certain individuals out there who "just have it" and by "it" I mean the skills as well as the resources to hit 60% w/ consistency.

If someone else claimed to have hit 67% for multiple seasons, I myself would give them the benefit of the doubt while at the same time asking for any validation/proof that they have before I believed 100%.

If they can give me some proof that establishes they are damn excellent, I will certainly believe them, because I know it is possible from my own experience. Of course, I would want to see that it was not just 60% w/ 10 plays a year, or something like that. If you are playing multiple games per week (3+) and hitting 65% or higher, for more than just 1 season, that is damn good, and damn rare. Certainly the list is quite short of NFL gamblers who have been able to achieve such a feat.

So the number of people who can achieve this is not zero. It is likely small, but there are individuals in select sports who can do it. Just make sure you "validate" someone who tells you they did it. If they can show you plays over a period of time where they can back up their claims, what can you say? They are that good I guess...

I have had my share of "hot streaks" - I went 15-1 (94%) in the Wagerline NFL Playoff competition heading into the Super Bowl, finished 16-2 (89%) and won first place. And yes, long term there are peaks/valleys in any season and anyone who says otherwise is lying. But I hit over 65% for the entire season last year, and my computer program has hit over 65% now for 3 years in a row. It takes a TON of work, devoted time and effort, but as you yourself know, the rewards are worth it all.

And FYI, I posted every single "Personal Play" and writeup for the first 9 weeks of the season and the record is a fully documented 23-9-2 (72%). In 2007, my Overs plays went 21-1 (95%) over the entire season/post season. A portion of that record is documented, as I posted Week 4 thru the Super Bowl (except for week 17) on a messageboard. And obviously my 16-2 (89%) First Place victory out of over 6,000 contestants on wagerline is fully documented.

If you want to look at the "documentation", it is right on my website, with direct links to each and every play, posted on messageboards well before kickoff. I have nothing to hide.

Hopefully you are not so close minded once you see actual proof. Either way, removing me from the discussion, telling people that it is "impossible" to hit 67% for a season is just inaccurate. I'm certainly not the first person to have done it. And the number is small, but it is definitly doable. Hell, Fezzik hit 67% to win the Hilton Contest last year.
