I hope the rest of the viewing world can now realize that the NFL handed Pitt the Super Bowl last year. It was all a Cinderella story for Bettis.

he is/was definitely overrated
he has some talent but this assface turns it over like nobodys business which is the quickest path to destruction
he has been absolutely horrible 80% of this year
since he had few turnovers his first year he has made up for lost time
i think he has MORE THAN caught up on his INTs by now

So, last year the entire NFL season was rigged for Jerome Bettis?
Sorry, but I can taste your sour grapes from here ....

Yeah, I'm a Steelers fan - been one since I was born in Pittsburgh some number of years ago - nevermind how long exactly And, like most diehard fans, I live and breath every play they make twisting my Terrible Towel to an almost unrecognizable state - and I had a tear in my eye when they handed Dan Rooney the Lombardi for Super Bowl XL. There aren't too many true fans of the game who don't admire the way the Rooney's run their franchise.
So, it only stands to reason that I have to stick my 2 cents in here about ol' Ben. While Ben has had a rough start to his season on many levels, what I have come to like about him and to value is that he endeavors to perservere. He's not a quitter and he not down on himself - even though it seems many are.
Yeah, he dumped three INTs in the first half yesterday to a relatively crappy Cleveland team, but he came back clean in the second half, throwing two TD passes in the fourth quarter to do what really matters and that's win. If the Steelers are to win out, as they need too, make no mistake, they'll do it on Ben's arm - much like they did last season.

Well, he certainly came back and got a win yesterday. I think he still blows goats but hats off to him for the 2nd 30 minutes yesterday.

I sad Super Bowl, not season. The two best teams were not even in the Super Bowl last year, but they made it and hats off to them. Everyone sounds shocked in Ben's performances this year, but do you remember his stats in the Super Bowl.
9-21 for 121 yds. Real Impressive. I'll take Brady all day long.

Brady: born 8/1977
Ben: 3/1982 (And the youngest QB to ever win a superbowl.)
I say he's got time to catch up

gotta agree with austin here on both counts, ben will not be catching brady and i doubt he wins another ring. Plus last years Superbowl was brutal the 72 Dolphins could not of survived those officials.

Say what you will about Ben and his future success or lack thereof, but don't be the broken record of blaming the officials. Fact is there are good and bad calls in every single game leading up to the Super Bowl and in every super bowl game. The Steelers have had their share of both - one particularly bad call could have cost them a trip to the super bowl and the official who made that call even came out and apologized for his error the next day; however, if the Steelers had not won that game despite the bad call, was the official who made the mistake at liberty to give them a "mulligan" so they could try again?
Like I said every game has bad calls and good calls and every team has received their share - the Steelers are not special on this topic.

Yes he had a comeback yesterday, but the Browns played laughable in the 4th...vs. most other teams Pitt would have lost, easily. And the superbowl last year sucked.

just another case of a biased steeler fan.
Brady's worst game is better than Ben's best game
Bottom line - Brady won 3 in 4 years. Lets give Ben 3 more years and see how he fairs.

i have no bias don't cheer for either team I probably lean to the steelers as i follow afc more but that game was a travesty of justice and the poorest called superbowl imo. Hope which ever teams meet this year get a more square game called. It was not A bad call......it was one call after another

I love all you Ross haters , listen to your pathetic miserable selfs insult the superbowl champ qb, im not even a steelers fan but think its absurd that you people give him no credit especially the ones who were killing him in the first half of the game then watch him make a great comeback..

Yes. I was planning a veal piccatta for dinner tonight and wondered if you might recommend a quality Chardonay?

To compare Big Ben to one of the best QB of all time is senseless. Ben is a damn good QB and will only get better over time.....def. has a lot to learn, but to say he is a Brady or even compare him to Brady is crazy.

There is officially a worse QB than Roth. Eli Manning is frickin clueless out there. Boy I am sure bad we didn't get him (Chargers).
