Expect the Bears and Cardinals to go over the total when they meet in Arizona for Monday Night Football.

With the way the Bears have been playing, this one goes over the 38 easily.

The Bears scored 40 on their own last week and 37 the week before, and are averaging over 31 per gam on the season. Arizona has been good on its home field this season, and with rookie QB Matt Leinart knowing that he’s the man now, he can relax a little more and settle in. He showed great promise last week.

Not to pick but when was the last time this game was lined 38 for the total? Wednesday of last week? Was painted 40 earlier, later some 40.5's, now it has gone down a bit and you may even find a 39.5 in some rare place but nobody has 38 any longer. Not to bash touts but this is just part of the reason it's silly to pay someone for their picks. He recommends OVER and the play is listed at 38 which is a line none of his followers are going to be able to get.

Game happens to land 38/39/40 and he's a winner (or pushed) yet the squares that paid him for his picks have lost. Just reason #1 out of many not to pay anyone for their opinions ---> you won't be able to get the same lines in a lot of cases!

If you like the OVER I would suggest playing it before it goes to 41, that is a fairly prominent number for NFL totals. Of course so is 38 that he claims he bet the game at in which no one else can find right now. Totals have key #'s you need to be aware of as well, the biggest being 37 of course. Just like 3, 7 etc... when betting a side, be aware when a game you are looking at is around a total that comes in a lot and make your plays accordingly.

Anyway I'm about as square as they come but if this game gets to 41 or 41- I will take the under and gamble a little bit.

bears will do their part but how many points is Az going to contribute? As witnessed by the brutality in Pitt yesterday, can't put as much stock in Leinhart's debut against KC as I might have prior. Bears AND over probably safe for a push at least, as I see nothing to stop chi from putting up 28+ points themselves. I bet the bears under against a pretty solid Buff defense only to see chi score everytime they touched the ball ... and Az defense is weak in all areas:

              stats:
              CHICAGO STATISTICS ARIZONA
              (NFL RANK)
              31.2 (1st) Points Scored 17.6 (T-19th)
              356.4 (4th) Total Offense 291.0 (22nd)
              109.4 (15th) Rushing Offense 70.4 (31st)
              247.0 (4th) Passing Offense 220.6 (10th)
              7.2 (1st) Points Allowed 23.8 (T-24th)
              234.6 (3rd) Total Defense 360.8 (27th)
              76.2 (6th) Rushing Defense 123.4 (22nd)
              158.4 (5th) Passing Defense 237.4(29th)
              + 10 (2nd) Turnover Ratio - 3 (T-22th)

Touts create their own lines when need be.

great post, thanks for the info patrick Mcirish. I would never give up a nother $$$ to an expert, a couple of weeks ago I took some advice and lost alot. He told me to open a offshore credit with a company called sportsbookpayer.com they took my $3,000 and ran. (Advice dont go to sportsbookpayer.com)

Why do people think the BEARS offense is that good? They scored junk points against bad teams.

How man points did they score in Minnesota? you think they are going to destro a very good cardinals line?
