Talking Myself Out of Taking SD:
Wanna lay even 10.5 but wondering if Marty will let Rivers
operate vs struggling SF secondary? SD's def stats amassed
vs OAK, TENN, BALT and PITT (not necessarily a quartet of
offensive powerhouses). Can't count on 'slippery hands' Gore
to fumble anymore after he held on to the ball following the
Terdell Sands hit in the OAK matchup! Marty blew up at his
team for soft Wed., practice . . . Rivers handled it well, saying
something like how that shows that Marty's a coach who cares . . . (this could also be construed as a reason to like SD) . . .
Talking Myslef Into Taking SD:
Marty has warmed up to letting Rivers play and the SF
secondary has a long day of mis-reads ahead of them with
Rivers's misleading looks. SF SS mistake prone. SF offense
limited to FGs on stalled long clock-control ground drives.
SD scoring in TD increments with quick drives, long passes.
10.5 looks like a bargain! Should be higher but public is
high-spread weary after IND last week . . .
I'm taking 1* SD - I'll even lay 10.5 - Rivers Rolls; Marty relaxes . . .
