week 6 DH's yardage efficiency ratings
Last week's record for this tool: 10-4 ATS, 13-1 SU.

Starting with power rankings at twominutewarning, I take the ratings in points per drive for offense x1 + defense x1.5 + red zone x2. I then show the positive or negative units against the league average. (no longer dividing by number of games played; won't change results for last week).

For my personal use I divide the numbers below by 4. So for CHI @ ARI, instead of a 66 unit edge, I have a 66/4 = 16.5 edge for CHI. I find this easier for record keeping purposes.

    1) Chi +60.75
    2) Jax +51.75
    3) Phi +44.75
    4) Bal +43.75
    5) Sd +38.25
    6) Ne +37.25
    7) Den +34.75
    8) Kc +31.25
    9) Cin +25.25
    10) Stl +21.75
    11) Car +15.25
    12) No +10.75
    ---------------------------------------------------
    13) Atl +2.25
    13) Ind +2.25
    13) Tb +2.25
    16) Sea -2.75
    17) Dal -4.25
    18) Ari -5.25
    ----------------------------------------------------
    19) Mia -11.75
    20) Hou -12.75
    21) Det -16.75
    22) Nyg -17.25
    23) Cle -18.25
    24) Min -18.75
    25) Was -19.75
    26) Gb -26.25
    27) Ten -32.75
    28) Buf -38.75

Ravens were the SU loser last week, I presume?

      Many thanks, DH.

I'm not basing bets directly on these numbers. Just using it as a tool in the toolbox.

Take the difference between the teams that play each other. I divide that number by 4, just to make it more managable. For instance (after dividing by 4), teams with an edge of less than 15 went 7-4 ATS; teams with edge of 15 or more went 3-0 ATS. Sample size too small to base any conclusions on.
