    Week 6 Plays and discussion
Hi folks. Is it freaking week 6 already? I don't like how fast this season is going. Pretty soon, I will be waiting for football season to start again. Anyway season is at 17-16-2, so let's get in the black this week.

Hou +13.5 Dal - Finally see the Texans in a spot where they can be bet. This is a big rivalry game and I see the sorry Texans staying close to the Cowgirls. Also, the Cowgirls blew their nut last week with Philly. I see a 6-10 point win for the girls, but not 13.5. I will wait a little to try to get 14 on this game. Otherwise, will buy to 14.

Ten +10 Was - Playing the Skins here. I think this line could be as high as 15. The good thing is that the skins are coming off a low scoring performance, and the Titans coming off a nice one. I like the value here, and hopefully will get less than 10 later i the week. Otherwise, I am comfortable playing this game at 10.

Oak +15 Den - I might have played Denver -23.5 in this spot. Denver at home has allowed 1 TD. Oakland will be lucky to score 5 TDs the rest of the season. It ain't happening here. Denver will roll by 20+.

SD -10 SF - The Chargers just plain look good. SF is getting too much love for pounding the Raiders. This really should be close to a 13 point line. I can't see SF doing much against this defense, and Chargers should cover easy. (If they wear their powder blues, maybe a double bet here! )

Sea -3 STL - Seattle is like the Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. SucksOnTheRoad of the NFL. I am going to get this game at 3.5, hopefully it will move there by game time, or I buy it. In any case, I think STL wins this game outright. They can score, and their defense has done surprisingly well. I know they are not great statistically, but they have generated turnovers and seem to cause a fumble or pick the ball at the right time. But, even if STL can't pull it out, it is very conceivable that a FG decides it.

Anyway, those are my plays. Good luck to all, and comments welcome.

    Broncos All the way!

I believe you are correct on the Broncos. They've only given up one TD this year. That is probably the 2nd best defense in NFL.
I don't know if they could score 24 points though. Offense is questionable at this point. May be if they put in Cuttler in the 2nd half, they may be able to start something. Jake is a worm at best, not a snake.

I agree that Bronco offense is somewhat lacking this year. However, they've managed to score on everyone and they have played fairly well, if not great. Also, we are talking about Oakland.

Your high school team could probably hang 24 on them.
