Any NFL fans live in Vegas?
I am moving to Las Vegas in less than a month from the NY area... I have a 3 TV spread for football during the season (with the NFL season pass, etc). I can't help it - I love the NFL.

I'm wondering if there was a reason for me to bother getting the NFL direct TV ticket for my home if I'm moving to vegas (I'm not going to be more than 15 minutes from the strip) - just wondering if anyone has 1st hand knowledge of quality places to watch the games and get in on the action at reasonable juice (not likely).
I'm actually more concerned about a proper place to be able to watch the games... And not have to pay anything, unless I choose to wager or get foodstuffs.

I've never actually scouted the area for places to watch games - but I HATE missing anything, and I'd hate it even more to put down the money to have the games in my home when I can get them for nothing elsewhere.

Any advice would rock... Thanks in advance.

Here's a link to five top spots (starts with 1, click back to 2)

I've seen other lists, but watching games never is a problem.

I just stay home and watch the games. Or go to a local casino around my home from time to time. So I cant really help with any advice. I dont like to bother with the crowds down on the strip.

I live in Vegas also, and I rarely watch the games in the casinos. I have the NFL sunday ticket and stay at home. Every nice sportsbook is too overcrowded during the games. About half the time you won't be able to get a seat and you'll always have a ton of A**holes routing for the opposite team, that gets annoying. The free drinks are nice, but not worth it in my opinion.

Thanks a bunch --- I really appreciate the responses.
It's such a tough choice. I like going out for the games - because sadly, I enjoy listing to dickwads supporting the teams I'm cheering against... Well, not really...

It's not that much for the ticket, but I'm moving into a place that will be such a pain in the ass to set up 3 direct tv boxes (It will take a 1/2 day - but that's WORK~!) in my living room... Was just wondering about 'good' options.

I'm also wondering if a phone or pocket PC would be worthwhile, if there were free wireless internet at any of the books in vegas, because I have a sinking feeling the juice and the lines will not be as nice as those as I'd find online...
I love watching the NFL and I sure play a lot of action - I just want to get the most opportunity for my bets and want to have the best viewing options available...

It means a LOT, though, when responses say: "I have the ticket".

I feel a smartphone/pocket PC is a must. No matter where you live. But I have had one for about 4 years now and I cant see myself going back to a regular cell phone.

I use it to place bets at Pinnacle when I cant get to my computer or to a sportsbook. I have had no problems doing so on my smartphone. Im now using the Treo700p, and its great.

Noted - I really appreciate the tip.
                I was worried 'smartphones' weren't capable yet - although - I havn't had one in 3-4 years.
                Thanks, man.

                Edit:
Der - I was looking at getting a Treo - glad I asked a bit.
I had a blackberry for a long time, but it was so limited and didn't help when it came to 'wagering' - but it sure did everything else nice.
The Treo looks like it is what I was wanting...
Thanks again for the heads up, it is greatly appreciated.
