Wisconsin/Davidson OVER 126
Most people are going to lean under because of Wisconsin's defensive prowess. However, look no further than the Georgetown-Davidson match-up of last round to see why the over can and should hit. G'Town was the #1 FG% defense and they held Davidson in check, 22 of 56 from the floor. However, the 'Cats got to the line 31 times and that is something they have done in both tourney games - get to the line frequently. Wisconsin has done the same, going to the stripe 24 & 25 times. That bodes well for adding some freebie points with both teams shooting over 70% on the season. Further, Davidson's D has been flat in the tourney, allowing 54 of 96 from the floor to G'Town and Gonzaga. Well over 50%! Wisconsin has been sharp and efficient on offense, shooting 49 of 105 for just under 50% from the floor. With all of that, I see the Badgers hitting for 65-70 and I believe Davidson will fight hard to push past 60 and sneak this one above the posted #.
I'm a little pressed for time as I am set to travel to Houston for the regional tonight, so the rest are just leans ...
Memphis/Michigan State - OVER 136
Izzo says he will run with Memphis. If this is true, the OVER has a shot.
Stanford/Texas - OVER 134
Cards will bang the ball inside, should get to the FT line to help the over. Expecting a score that should approach 140, something with the winner around 70 and the loser in the mid to upper 60s.
