Hilltoppers Vs. Bruins

Would love to hear input on this matchup as well.

I think the Hilltoppers are obviously out classed in this one, but on the other side of the token, they have shown to the nation that their road in the tourney so far has not been 100% luck. The Hilltoppers need huge games from Lee & Brazelton to just keep pace in this one. I think the toppers can cover the +12.5. Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Input anyone?

I like the points here with WKU. UCLA still has some players gimpy and if WKU can hit their 3s, I think the game is less than a 10 point decision.

I think WKY is it this game till the end, they have senior guard play that will help against UCLA's defense and this is upset city IMO>

Leaning toward Western +12. They aren't the Cinderella they're made out to be. They have not played a game all year, that they didn't have a chance to win in the closing minutes. Western does have to keep their inside guys out of foul trouble and knock down some 3s. They've got 3 guys who shoot 3s really well. Barring stage fright, and foul trouble Western at least covers. I wouldn't be shocked to see them win su.

There aren't too many bettors who like UCLA. You know what happens when eveybody is on the same side. The bookies know what they are doing when making ucla 12 point favorite. UCLA loves playing uptempo teams. Western presses full court but Ucla wil get a lot of easy baskets. Watch yourself here.

I have future on Bruins to win it all, but I also like Hilltoppers as possible big cinderella. Hard to see them winning tho, they beat a team that was out of the ncaas for 3 decades, then came back to beat USD. Not much of a test,

Do like the way they play tho. I passed on bettting the game

I would not take Western Kentucky in this game simply to cover the spread. They really do not have to win this game. WK is in a much weaker conference. WK does not have much depth especially at the center and power forward positions. UCLA has a tendency to shut down up tempo guard play with which WK relies heavily on. WK is in an offensive minded conference where they play no defense. UCLA got away with murder in their last game against Texas A&M, a game that they could have easily lost. ONly type of teams that will beat the briuns are the ones that play some solid defense like A&M and Stanford. I personally like UCLA at the half and the game. The game will be played in Phoenix which is much closer for UCLA than it is for WK. I also like UCLA for the fact that lot of bettors are liking WK and you know what happens with that.

Beat washington state twice in League play, the team that plays the best D in the Pac-10. While Losing to Washington, USC, and stealing a win from Cal (worst defensive team Ive watched all year). UCLA isnt that good, and the pac 10 is overrated, which im admitting even though they are my conference. I think this game will be close. But I wouldnt be suprised if WK won, or UCLA blew them out.
