Sweet, went to bed thinking St. Mary's was going to win. Had nothing on the game but it means I probably will have something for tonight.
By the way, St. Mary's is a lock for the tournament and so is Gonzaga. The selection committee does not care about how many teams a conference gets. The conference winners get their automatic bids, then they choose the 34 best remaining teams. Both Gonzaga and St. Mary's are in that top 34 at large pool regardless of whether San Diego wins tonight.

Gonzaga is a lock but St. Mary's will be biting their nails on selection sunday if USD wins the tournament. The Committee will not allow 3 WCC to enter the big dance especially when one is close to the bubble as St Mary's is.

St. Mary's has been in the top 25 all year and split with Gonzaga. If San Diego wins the tourney, it just makes their resume look stronger because if San Diego's RPI and SOS was any higher, they'd be a bubble candidate as well. St. Mary's is in... you must be a Big East fan because San Diego winning would screw Villanova, Syracuse, and/or West Virginia.
