    Ohio State's delusional
Do OSU fans really think winning this game tonight puts them in the tourney? You're 9-8 in a significantly down year for the Big 11. You've lost 4/5 even after this W (including a bad loss to Minny and a terrible loss to UM). You have two decent Ws outside league play (Syracuse, Florida), but other than that your non-conference resume is less than stellar. You've managed to lose 12 games despite a favorable schedule, and tonight's W over Purdue was your FIRST win over a NCAA tourney team (Gators and Cuse are on the outside looking in as of today). Even by the standards of the RPI (which is a joke), you fall short of being an at-large selection.

    Have fun in the NIT.

Not sure how you managed to throw IU and UT into this discussion, but if you say so...

        Just 2 other overrated teams.

Texas had perfect opportunity to come out strong against a very weak Nebraska team, and they barely win at home. This was after their horrible loss to Texas Tech, who themselves then recently got torn up at Kansas.

IU is another Big Ten team that for all the talent, hasnt shown up this year at all to its capabilities. Yes the cheating coach has an effect on that, but they are just another team overrated in my opinion as far as some of their performances this year

I wouldn't categorize OSU as being overrated at all. Anyone who knows anything about college hoops realizes OSU's severely lacking in talent this year and is far from a NCAA tourney caliber team. Honestly, IU and UT have absolutely nothing in common with OSU.

I dont think OSU is overrated, just dont really like them. Your correct, reason for lack of talent is losing I believe 3 guys to the NBA draft. It would be curious to see as a poll which team, OSU or Florida does the general public was a bigger disappoint this year as Florida lost 5 guys to the NBA draft and I believe Florida has 8-6 conference record in SEC.

Although that is just another thing to debate, as then everybody would get into "My conference is the strongest and most competitive"

            Big Ten, SEC, ACC, Pac-10.

But I do think Texas and IU are overrated.

Ohio St doesn't deserve a bid and after a good win against Purdue @ HOME, they have still lost 4 of 5 and I thought the tourney committee looked at how teams fared in their last 10 games. They would need to win against MSU, I think this is their next game, and at least a few wins in the big 10 tourney, probably one in the tourney against a solid big 10 team.

Even if this happens I wouldn't put them in, but this is what I think would give them some consideration, right now they aren't even in my mind for tourney consideration.
