Hope you guys don't mind a newbie making a thread for the sports lottery up here in Canada, sportselect.
Basically, it takes the whole idea of sports betting and turns it into the impossible: minimum 3 game parlays with below offshore money line returns. For instance, Thursday NCAA basketball card has 13 games, and you must get a minimum of a 2 game parlay on spreads or 3 games on moneyline to cash. 2 games pays 2 to 1, 3 games pays 5-1. So you can see how it might be called a "suckers bet".

I'm here for tips from the NCAA basketball experts. The proline spreads stay the same once they are set and do not move, so I am finding spreads to be most my profitable venture, and NCAA basketball in particular.

I liked WF at -3.5 right off the bat. Also leaning to ND at +8.5 (I think Louisville wins by 4-7) and I am leaning Stanford even thought that big line scares me. Might do a 2/3 rotation with one 3 game ticket. Good luck let me know what you think.

Not touching Point Spread, only Pro Line. Probably 2 tickets. I would like to take ND to win with those odds but will opt for the tie since I think it will be a close game. Still not sure if I'm gonna bother with that game though.

Playing three plays per ticket. In no order, I will be going:

USC to Win
UCLA to Win
Wake Forest to Win
Boise State to Win
Wisconsin to Win

Definitely considering selecting a Washington State over California win as well...

Edmonton/LA TIE

My instinct tells me this one is going to the shootout and with the amount of shootouts Edmonton has, I believe it is a good play for the huge odds. If the Kings are up, the crowd in Edmonton is a big factor.

I cant pick a hockey team to save my life...I stick to basketball, football and especially baseball. I have made a good profit off ties in NCAA BB this year, I am liking these games to tie:
72, 76 and 81. BOL with your picks.
To be honest, I should head down to Niagara to place my point spread bets as they have 3-1 odds on 2 game sets and 7-1 on 3 game parlays.

I got burned outta about 200 bucks by Kentucky (not covering the spread or winning) and LSU (not tying). Kentucky really pised me off cause it looks like they just coasted through the last half of the second half.....and all those missed FT's. Jeezus.

Stanford -11.5---this big line scares me a little but i think the Cardinal are fired up and looking to secure a 2 seed.

the gambling worl seems to think nd (70% for ND 30% for lousiville) just makes me wonder what those 30% really know.
game seems alittle fishy(too high at -8 which makes me think the handicappers know somethin here

This proline stuff is very interesting...For a sportsgame you are right it is a suckers bet, but for a state/province lottery it has better odds than most stuff: tickets, pick 4's etc (because you can balance a little skill with luck). I just have never heard of a state run a book (outside carribean etc) which is interesting...especially with all the stuff going on in the U.S. who knows how long we got until Offshorre business is made much harder to access.. Wonder if the U.S. gov will ever take a similar approach...Right now I know the only place in US with legal sportsbooks is Las Vegas (history of Atlantic City's attempts for a book in the early 90's is pretty interesting stuff)....Any ways just wanted to chime in...Like the Wake pick....GL

Thanks awj. I cut up all my credit cards a few years back so opening an offshore is a pain in the ass, I did have a pinnacle account a few years back but got washed out due to poor money management. I may open an offshore account again in the near future, but for now its proline.
The tie factor (less than 6 points) in NCAA basketball makes it profitable if you can pick the right games.

Why will they cover this game? I took Notre Dame Plus the 8 points. On paper ND'S win Probability is only 36% to win this game out right.
